Faith Partners collaborates with a wide variety of organizations in order to deliver much needed services to the community. We recruit our volunteer team mentors – the lifeblood of our organization - from local churches and other community minded organizations. Since its inception, Faith Partners has been able to provide the services of over 1200 mentors to help families in need in our community go from dependence on state provided financial assistance to self-sufficiency.

Faith Partners receives its funding from several sources including churches, foundations, community trusts, individuals, and a contract with El Paso County. Public funding is tied directly to specific services provided in relation to welfare-to-work programs. For the remainder, Faith Partners relies on the caring and generosity of charitable organizations and individuals.

Faith Partners augments its small, but highly motivated staff with volunteers and service providers who generously give of their time and resources at no cost to the community.

Over the last year Faith Partners has provided mentoring services to over 30 families and life-skills education to over 360 individuals while operating within a budget of approximately $110,000. Clearly, the benefit to the community has been significant, and the cost very low. In contrast, the average cost associated with maintaining a family on welfare is well in excess of $30,000 per year. In very large part, our success has been made possible by our volunteers, mentoring partners and contributors.
